am i odd? just a tad...

First, I have some blogging logistics to mention before I dig into my post. Holla! to all of my new 'Followers' or as I like to refer to you all 'people who win at life'! I am so jazzed that I have 20 whole followers (don't judge...20 is a big deal to me). Thanks for taking the time to read me! Love you all.

Okay...now the juicy stuff! The other day I was sitting and thinking about how odd I am. Like if I were to rate myself on an oddity scale...like 1 being totally normal and 10 being a member of the Gosselin family...how would I rate myself? I think I am mid-range strange (yep...poet and didn't even know it). So, I would say I am a 5-6 on my made up scale...with just a touch of neuroticism and OCD. After I scientifically calculated my scale (ya know...wrote my weird things down on a post-it) I decided it would make a good post.

Weird Thing #1:

Apparently I eat pizza like a freak. Or at least that is how everyone I know sees it. I see it as perfectly normal AND delicious. What do I do with said pizza? I take my fork scrape off all of the cheese and whatever toping happens to be there and then shove the pizza into my mouth (you know..very delicate and girly like). Yep...I just eat the crust and the sauce. It is A.Maz.Ing. No matter how many times my family & friends witness this they ALL feel the need to comment on it and criticize my pizza eating ways (except for Jil, she embraces it because it means she has 100% access to all of my toppings). Don't judge.

Weird Thing #2:

I have a tattoo. Yes, it's true. I had it done a few years ago and I would say I liked it for probably about a month or two...and then I got sick of looking at it. Since, it is on my foot and I wear flip-flops 95% of the time...I look at it quite a bit. I bet you are thinking, "Lots of people have tattoos...what is so weird about that?" The weird thing is, I refuse to get my tattooed colored in. It was always meant to be just a black outline however people comment all the time that I should color it. Nope. No way. Never going to happen. Why? Because if I do I know it will drive me mental when it doesn't color-coordinate with whatever I happen to be wearing.
Weird Thing #3:
The first thing I do in the morning is make my bed. If for some reason I am rushed and don't have the time to make it before I have to leave I think about it ALL day long. "Man...I wish I would have made my bed." "Ugh! My room is so unkempt right now...if only my bed were made!" "When I get home, no matter how late, I am going to have to make my bed." Yep...it is a little obsessive but it drives me mad! I absolutely cannot get back into an un-made bed. I will sometimes make it and then two seconds later turn the bed down again. Told you I was odd.

Weird Thing #4:

I do not shave my legs. Ever. Okay..hold onto your britches before you get all sicked out. I have zero leg hair. None. Zip. Zilch....you get the idea. For some strange reason the women in my family all lack leg hair...just another reason I love my mom...she made it possible for me to inherit this fabulous trait. Thanks mom, for my smooth as a babies behind gams! xoxo

Weird Thing #5:
I had a dream about Robert Pattinson. Alright, take a moment to remove your dirty minds from the gutter...no really...remove them...I will wait. Are we focused now? Good. Yes, he is a hottness monster. Yes, he has the sexiest hair that has ever lived (or un-lived..because hair is dead). Yes, he is sex on fire. Am I the only one who has had a Rob dream? Definitely not! Am I the only one who had a dream where I went to Disneyland with Rob and my friend Jil? Probably. Yep, out of ALL of the fantastic dirty dreams I could have had involving Rob...mine was a freakin' Three's Company re-enactment including the three of us walking arm and arm and going on 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Most lamespice Rob dream ever? For sure!
Just a quick fyi...if I ever get to fulfill my dream and hit up Disneyland with Rob...I would karate chop Jil right outta there (sorry Jil...I love you and all...but it would be a fight to the death) and drag him off to go and make babies on the 'It's a Small World' ride (and THAT is saying something...because I don't like babies.)

I think five is enough for one day. This will become a regular feature...trust. I have quite the list and it grows every day.
Alright...fess up! Give me at least ONE weird thing you do...more than one and you win a prize! What is the prize? You can come with Rob and myself the next time we hit up Disneyland!

a short but sweet halloween recap...

I know, I know. Everyone is sick of reading posts about Halloween...but since I am a little behind the times I am still going to do a quick little picture post about mine...(and I say quick because between studying and working on a new super secret project...I have like two seconds to post this!)...

I am not a big Halloween person. I don't dress up or really go out other than going trick-or-treating with my niece for the last four years...
can anyone say, "cutest child ever"? why yes, she does have hot pink vampire teeth in her mouth that perfectly match her candy bucket. yep, I am already schooling her in the ways of color coordination...

for some reason she wanted to be a mummy. she went from dirt bike rider, to princess, to mummy. her mom made her costume for her...thankfully she did not cover her in fake blood. my niece is far too sweet to be a bloody creepy mummy.
a sweet little picture of her and my mom. my Bug has some crazy eyes going on in...she was sick of having to take pictures when she could have been collecting candy...
i am really hoping that this is not any indication of the type of boys she is going to be attracted to. the bad boys are definitely off limits for this child...actually any boy will be off limits to her because...

uh huh. her daddy is a cop. the poor girl will be on lock down until she hits like 45. I know this from personal experience. my big brother has threatened to arrest or kill every boy I have ever brought home. please love that since Jas had to work and was not able to go door to door with us like usual he did the next best thing and followed us around in his patrol car.

this picture was a 'must post' because my mother NEVER cooperates in photos. ever. so since she is actually looking at the camera AND smiling it is completely blog-worthy. love you mama! also, note the mothers fabulous eye wear. yep...they are Fendi...work it mom!

the night wrapped up with some yummy Chinese food and a quick bath. she insists on drying her own hair now...she spends the majority of the time drying everything BUT her hair with the dryer...silly Bug!

See! I promised...short and sweet! Hope everyone had a good Halloween...I am off to eat some of Bug's candy that I thieved. You could say that I am the best Aunt ever...go ahead...say it.

mail time...

A few people use this new feature on their blogs...so I am basically thieving someone else's idea. But I am fessing up to it...so that makes it okay right? Right!

I love mail. Not bills and postcards from my dentists telling me it is time to get my teeth cleaned. But the occasional little note from someone or birthday cards...you know fun stuff like that. So since I love mail I am sending out some letters of my very own...

Dear Nails,

Hi, you look lovely right now all painted up with 'Sally Hensen Insta-Dri, one stroke polish in Rapid Red'. I am really happy that I decided to stop biting you. I really only stopped because I realized that it is sicknast that I touch stuff all day long and then put my germy hands in my mouth. It wasn't because I wanted you to grow and look pretty. But you do look fab so good on ya, mate! (bet you didn't know I speak Australian...yep I do.)

Dear Costco,

I love that you have everything on the planet one would need to survive a nuclear holocaust. Like seriously, I could move into Costco and live there the rest of my life and have everything I could ever desire. I hate going to you because every single time I come to visit it is 'old people day'. Don't get me wrong I love me some old people, just not when they stop in the middle of the aisles and just stand there looking confused. Or when they are standing in a line to get a free taste of something that they will never ever buy, like hot pockets. However, you sell churros so I will not hold the old people thing against you. The end.

Dear Blackberry,

I don't have one of you nor do I want one. I do take some serious issue with the fact that you have used some crappy cover of a Beatles song in your new commercial. The Beatles rule the musical universe...no one should ever cover them (unless you are in the movie 'Across the Universe'...then you will be forgiven because that movie is amazing!)That is blasphemy and you should never ever do it again. Thank you.

Dear Bill O'Reilly,
Shut up. Thank you.

Dear Skin Cream I Cannot Remember The Name Of,
I had never heard of your brand before but I spotted you while I was dodging old people in Costco and I realized you have the worst ad slogan I have ever seen. Writing, 'Do you have a turkey neck?' on a skin cream for women is just plain crazy. Even if I had a turkey neck I would never buy a product that said it would get rid of it because that would be mortifying. Hire some better advertisers.

Dear Glee,

In between studying for my killer bio psych exam and working on my senior seminar term paper I will be watching you. I feel very left out when everyone talks about this fabulous show because I have yet to view you. Which, if you know me, you know it is pure insanity that I am not watching...because I love musicals more than any gay man alive. Witness.

Dear Woman Who Cut Me Off Today,

You made me very angry. It would be nice if you didn't pull out in front of someone who is going 55 mph and then drive slower than a snail slithers (or whatever snails do). It would also be nice if you didn't flip me off when I honked because you almost made my car smash into yours. I also wish that I wouldn't have gone into a rage blackout (holla Summer from the O.C.) and passed you and flipped you off while your child (that I did NOT see ahead of time) was in the passenger seat. I laughed my booty off when I read the, "Teach Peace" sticker you had on your back window when you re-passed me, and then continued to drive at 10 mph. Yes, I do know that I have road rage.

Dear Term Paper,

Sorry that I have been procrastinating and not working on you as much as I should have. Even though I have been procrastinating you must love that I forgot I was writing you last night and slipped into 'blog writing mode' and typed 'lamespice'. I have apparently been reading far too much BBL. I was half-tempted to leave it in there...because my professor would have loved it.

Dear Weekend,

I am very happy you are finally here. It has been a loooong week and I needed you severely. In between studying and homework catch-up I have some super secret plans to work out. Oh, you want some hints? Let's just say it maybe, sorta, kinda, might rhyme with 'liveaway'.

Does anyone want to send some mail with me? Join in, it's a party! Until next week blog world.

Oh, and everyone have a Happy Halloween!

question and answer...

I really need a theme song for these posts...but alas, I do not have one. So all I will say is it's, 'The Book of Questions' post time! It has been awhile since I have cranked one of these babies out so...if you are new to the blog and have no idea what I am talking about go here, and then go here, here, and finally here. After all of that clicking you should be all caught up...

Here we go...please drumroll to yourself while I flip through the book...

Question #207: Do you enjoy sleeping in physical contact with your lover?

Answer: First of all...I prefer to say 'lov-ah' instead of lover...it just sounds way more awesome. Second of all (ok that just sounds odd) I am currently 'lov-ah'-less (unless you count the naked window stalking date I have later tonight with the boys from the mormon bachelor pad). To be 100% honest my answer to the question is, heck no!

Sorry...I am a crazy sleeper who flips and flops and kicks and moves around constantly...if anyone else is in the bed with me they are completely risking their lives. I also have the issue on the very few occassions where I have shared my bed to not be able to sleep because wherever the other person is laying is EXACTLY where I want to be...therefore they are so in my way. Also, please do not be scandalized because in my 24 years I have only shared my bed with ONE boy ...thankyouverymuch!

I am also not a big cuddler when I am trying to get my Z's on. I need my space and hands off...sorry it's just the way I roll. You know...because I am gangster and all.

see this bed? Yeah...it isn't mine...but if it were it would be a 'no cuddle while sleeping' zone.

Okay 'fess up...are you a cuddler? Or are you a solo sleeper? Do tell...inquiring minds want to know!

birthday culmination...

I bet you all feel like you have been reading about birthdays on this blog for like, a week...well it's because you have been! Last week was, The Week of A Million (3) Birthdays and this week I am re-capping my own! You will be glad to know that this post is the final one, it's the birthday culmination...holla...

So, the last post was about how I spent the day of my 24th...this one is about the evening...you know, the good stuff...

now...in my head I seem to remember a time, not long ago, when I was fun. like wild and crazy out late (okay late to me is midnight) fun. those days seem to be gone...now I am boring...and old...but I am cool with it.

Jil, yours truly, and Bastina Balicious went to dinner. where did we get our grub on? oh you know Chili's. yep because it is GOOD and it makes my belly happy...

Bastina said that chili's makes her happy too. although for some reason when I snapped this photo she looked as though she was juuust about to break into tears...maybe she was just REALLY hungry.

Jil was trying to be cool and be taller than I am. so I scrunched and she stretched. we both look ridiculous. but hey that is how we do...(by the by jily I love that shirt).

ok...it is time I gave myself a taste of my own medicine (does that sentence even make sense?). anyways you guys get it, right? I love to post embarrassing pictures of the one's I love...so now I must post one of myself. yep. this is how I behave in public.

remember sad face Bastina from a few pictures ago? well she turned into a happy face when her food was placed in front of her. then she spilled on her shirt. she was still jazzed though because she got to use her Tide pen. yep we are all wild and crazy.

after our scrumptious dinner we headed downtown for some drinks (and by 'drinks' i mean half a beer for me and one margarita a piece for Jil & Bastina). yes I am a dude and I love a nice cold Bud Light...only from a bottle please!

mmm...mango margaritas are SO stinkin' yummy. hey! check out that ice cold Bud Light....guess whose that was?! also thanks Bastina for the purse...I heart it bad. and Jily gave me my name/picture blocks (which will soon have their own post).

we may be 'boring' but at least we think we are pretty dang fun! yep we basically rock at life. we give lessons if you want.

this is proof of how wild we got. and this isn't even the time I got home. this is the time after I got home, ate my chili's leftovers, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and threw on my jammie's.

Maybe not the craziest birthday night ever. But it was still pretty great. I could not think of better people to have spent the evening with...love you girls!

And now...we are done with birthday posts. Hallelujah!
