happy egg day...

Do you all remember when the Easter Bunny came a couple of Sundays ago? Yeah. I do too. However, I am just now getting around to posting all of The H* Family's Egg Day pictures. Enjoy...

{1.} Bug on her way to find all those eggs. The ones you can eat? Meh. The ones with money? She was all about!

{2.} My mama and myself. I love that woman.
{3.} Bastina and myself...and my ghetto fabulous earrings. I mean COME ON, those bad boys deserve an honorable mention at the very least!
{4.} She is such a ham. Ask her to smile, and you receive this...

{5.} Mama and Brother Jon-than. I am so excited I actually got a picture of him. He is a picture dodging ninja, in my opinion.

{6.} Bug and her loot!
{7.} Our signature peace signs. We are awesome.

{8.} Brother Jason and his baby girl.

{9.} This has to be the cutest, and my most favorite, picture ever. I love it...

{10.} The brotherly one, Bug, and myself...
{11.} Bastina and I, giving Bug kisses. <3

{12.} Bug and I throwing up peace signs...my mother...um...not throwing up a peace sign?
{13.} Egg-actly...sorry. I had to pun.
{14.} Money!!!

{15.} She is so my niece. Girl, loves her some dolla' bills y'all...

Well, there you have it folks. I blogged about Easter...and only a little over a week late. Go me.

wise words wednesday {24.}...

This weekend I decided I was going to get stuff together to decorate my new office at work (Okay...I have had it since January 3rd, but I have been busy and haven't had time to decorate. For shame!) I have a pretty spacious office...it has two desks in it, but no one uses the second desk. Basically it is a pretty blah space at the moment. I decided the best thing to start with is a picture collage. I mean what is better than pictures of those that we love to perk up a space? Nothing, in my humble opinion. So, I started to peruse my picture archives and I put together quite a lovely collage. As I looked at my finished product I examined it and felt so blessed. Why? Because of the crazy amount of love I have in my life. Here is just a little gander at the different kinds of love I am lucky enough to have...

{24.} Wise Words....

"All you need is love."-The Beatles

{1.} Grandpa and Step-Grandma.

{2.} Brother Jason and Niece Jordan

{3.} The whole H-Family clan

{4.} Future-Sister-In-Law-Bastina, Bff Ashton, and Bff Lauren

{5.} Dad

{6.} Bff-Sister-from-Another-Mister- Jil

{7.} Lifelong-Bff Fabi

{8.} Mama

{9.} Bug

{10.} Brother Jonathan and Bastina

You all made the office picture collage. Why? Just cause I love ya!

i am thankful {2.}...

Last year I did a post in December...about Thanksgiving. In case you all are not aware, Thanksgiving is in November. I was a slacker. However, it is only three days after The Day of Thanks and I am blogging about it! Goooooo me! My turkey day post from last year, is one of my all time favorite posts. I am doing it the same way this year. Ready for a picture explosion? Enjoy...

I am thankful for being able to spend an enormous amount of time with two of my favorite ladies. My mama and Bug are the loves of my life...

I am thankful Bug is awesome. I have no idea where she learned all of her awesome ways...
Oh, wait...

I am thankful for my future sister-in-law, Bastina Balicious. She never fails to give me a stellar Thanksgiving photo op. Once again I refer to last years t-day post. Bastina's gangsta pic is priceless...
I am thankful for my grandpa. He is my one card carrying democrat family member. If it were not for him, I would be the lone voice of reason and sanity at the dinner table...

I am thankful Bug has her Grandpa the Great and Marylou to love on her and spoil her. That girl deserves all the love in the world...

Like I said, this girl deserves all the love in the world...

Remember what I said about stellar photo ops? Yep. Case and point...

I am thankful I have someone to save my favorite childhood clothing items for. Yep. I did rock a leather cowgirl jacket WITH fringe in my day. So epic...

I am thankful I have a mama who is a skilled seamstress. See that super cute hounds tooth cardi I am wearing? Yeah. That is a Mama Made couture creation. Love it with me folks...

I am thankful that I snapped this picture of sheer glory. I have zero clue what happened to cause these facial expressions on my family member's faces, but I thank the Gods of Awkwardness for it...

I am thankful that they are not mouth breathing while playing the Wii. It seems to be a habit of theirs...

I am thankful that Jordan is being schooled in the ways of knitting. By 'schooled' I mean driving Christina crazy by asking her what every single thing in that bag is. I am also thankful she put ALL of Bastina's knitting tools back where they belong. That could have been a nuclear meltdown had something gone missing...
I am thankful that Bastina snapped this gem. What can I say? My mom makes really good chocolate cream pie...

I am thankful for my loved ones. Plain and simple. What are YOU most thankful for?

psbtw, new creations are in the Mama Made Shoppe!

i challenge you {4.}...

Well, I pretty much failed in the whole '30 Day/Post Challenge'. I honestly forgot all about it. Here is a little reminder about what exactly this little challenge is all about. I am going to just pick up where I left off. Post #4 of the challenge...

Day 4-Your Siblings...

This picture slays me every time I look at it (yes it is taken in line for the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland). See that girl in the middle with the pissedspice look on her face? Yep, that is yours truly. See that guy with the stubble who is very authoritatively telling us something? That is the eldest brother Jason. See the one with the hat that is permanently attached to his head, who is clearly not listening to his big brother? That is the second oldest in our clan, Jon-than.

These two have the powers to piss me off more than anyone else on the planet. They are pretty damn obnoxious at times, but they are pretty damn awesome at other times. They are my over-protective, loveable big brothers. They make me glad I do NOT have any sisters. Seriously. Sisters sound like they suck. Brothers are for sure the way to roll.

And yes. I am the baby of the clan. Which means I pretty much always whine and get my way. I am pretty sure this pisses off both of the brotherly ones.
