This year Bug was a girl after my own heart. Why yes, she IS the one and only Little Mermaid. Ariel is her favorite Disney Princess...she is mine as well. I was Ariel in 3rd grade. I love this kid. Her taste is impeccable.
Oh, I guess I did dress up this year...I went as 'Death Warmed Over'. Ick. I am looking pretty rough in this photo...just love me through it. Focus on the cuteness explosion next to me.

My two favorite ladies: Bug and my Mama. They both hate having their pictures taken, so to get one that has both of them in it is a Halloween miracle. Seriously, if they would have smiled the heavens would have opened up serenading us with a version of 'Hallelujah'. No freaking lie.
This kid basically was planning on trick-or-treating all night long...her aunt (aka me) had other ideas. Those ideas included me being in bed by ten o' clock. So, I gave this adorable mermaid a kiss and a hug and headed on home.Overall my Halloween was pretty down to earth, and I wouldn't have it any other way. So please share what were YOUR Halloween plans?

That kid has great taste...Ariel will always be my favorite. I think I have super long hair because of that movie and I must say people are lucky that I'm not a bright red head too. Halloween consisted of my doing homework. But the night before consisted of my getting all dolled up in a masquerade mask and seeing Psycho at the Opera House with the St Louis symphony playing back up.

I def couldn't trick or treat all night, this old skin needs beauty sleep :)
Well now I can tell Jacob that she was Ariel! He was asking yesterday...too cute.
I'm such a homebody too and not much for Halloween myself (so it was ok that they totally don't celebrate it in Spain.)
Your niece is beyond adorable! Oh my goodness I so can't wait to be Aunt. Maybe in a couple of years I'll get to take my niece or nephew trick-or-treating. :)

Well for Halloween, we had went to a local trunk or treating saturday night, so last night I took my sons around to just family members houses and then we came home andjust passed out candy (:

I love when the Bug is on the blog...she looks great in he costume!!
I lovvvvvvvvve halloween! I was a lady bug this year :) I like to sit at a house of my grown up friends and hand out candy to all the little monsters! My highlights of the night were a dinosaur that went 'RAWR!' and Buzz Lightyear that said "to infinity & BEYOND!"
